PAINTING HOPE PROJECT IS BACK

Subscribe for updates

Dear Friends,

We’re excited to share that the Painting Hope Project has been revived!

This non-profit initiative supports humanitarian aid and Ukrainian defenders through the Canadian Support Ukraine Foundation (CSUF). Volunteers from Dorosh Heritage Tours have been working with CSUF since the onset of the full-scale war in 2022.

As part of the project, donors receive a custom painting of their ancestral village in Ukraine — or any meaningful location of their choice. It’s a unique way to preserve cherished memories while helping rebuild Ukraine’s future.

We are proud to collaborate with Tetiana Savchenko, a gifted volunteer artist from Kharkiv province. Trained as an architect and a painter at heart, Tetiana now works at a factory producing ventilation systems for bomb shelters. Despite these challenges, she considers painting to support Ukraine a true blessing — a way to contribute from the heart.

The paintings you see were created by Tetiana, based on real photos from the ancestral villages of our donors.

While painting, she often hears the sound of distant shelling.
