Hope all is well!
As you all know, travel to Ukraine is not a safe option right now. I am sure things will change but it’s our reality today. In this update, I would like to tell you what we do to make a heritage tour possible at this time. It is a story about our recent trip to shoot a virtual tour video for our customer whose roots come from Ukraine.
I find every project of this kind exciting not only because it lets me help others to reconnect with their ancestry or find lost relatives. It’s also a way to learn new things about my people. It’s a way to find out off-the-beaten-path places and new experiences that I can include in the heritage tour itineraries once real travel in Ukraine becomes available.
I also invite you to check the website of the Canadian Support Ukraine Foundation (www.CSUF.ca). Our DHT team has successfully been working with them to supply Humanitarian Aid and equipment to the military in Ukraine since the beginning of the hot war.
